TOM CAIRNEY is being lined up by Newcastle United who are prepared to match Fulham’s valuation of £10million.
The 26-year-old has had an outstanding season as the Cottagers sit in sixth place, but could make the move up north once the Magpies seal their return to the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mirror, Rafa Benitez is a huge fan of the attacking midfielder, and recently sent scouts to watch him in his star performance over Huddersfield Town on the weekend.
Cairney, who has one cap for Scotland, scored in the 4-1 rout – a beautifully placed penalty to put the West Londoners 2-1 up.
It has been reported that Newcastle – who will make an instant return to the English top flight if they beat Preston North End on Monday, have made Cairney their number one target in the next transfer window.
