NEWCASTLE have moved for Prem wingers Christian Atsu and Callum McManaman.
And the proposed transfer of West Brom‘s McManaman is set to cause outrage among Toon supporters who have not forgotten his horror tackle on Massadio Haidara.

McManaman put in the horrendous knee-high challenge while at Wigan in 2013 – amazingly leaving the left-back only out for a few weeks after he escaped a broken leg despite being taken to hospital.
Haidara then said in an interview: “His tackle could have ended my career and ruined my life but in the end he will play football before me.
“We have to protect the players. I don’t want to change the physical mentality, pace and commitment of football in England but we can’t tolerate tackles like this in football.”

And with several clubs in for the 30-year-old, he is expected to be out of the door soon enough.
But as footage emerged on Twitter of him arriving at Istanbul airport ahead of a move, several Turkish media sources claimed that the move could be off over a dodgy left knee.
Galatasaray may now make further checks on the cartilage damage before making a call on whether the deal is off.
Clubs in the Middle-East, China and Russia are also thought to be interested.
