NEWCASTLE have had a £12.5million bid accepted by Norwich for their winger Jacob Murphy.
The Toon had an £8m offer for the England Under-21 international rejected by the Canaries last week.

But they now appear to have landed their man in what is a major transfer breakthrough for boss Rafa Benitez.
Murphy, 24, will be Newcastle’s third summer signing after winger Christian Atsu made his loan move from Chelsea permanent and centre-half Florian Lejeune joined from Eibar.
Benitez has been frustrated by the Toon’s lack of transfer progress and only this morning warned owner Mike Ashley that he better “keep his word” over spending.
SunSport revealed yesterday that Newcastle were ready to offer £10million for Liverpool’s England U-20s wideman Sheyi Ojo, who is also wanted by relegated rivals Middlesbrough.
But the Toon appear to have lost out to West Ham in the battle to sign England No 1 keeper Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City.
Hart travelled down yesterday for a medical in London – a further blow for Benitez’s hopes of strengthening the backbone of his promoted squad.
