According to French TV programme Telefoot, Jardim will decide on his own future after this campaign as he earns rave plaudits for his attacking style of play.
Monaco sit pretty at the top of Ligue 1 – three points ahead of second-placed Paris Saint-Germain, and they also have a game in hand.
His side are also competing for a place in the Champions League final, but they look destined to exit the semi-final stages after losing 2-0 at home to Juventus in the first leg.
The North London club meanwhile, knocked out of Europe in the Round of 16 and failing in the Premier League, still remain confident Wenger will pen a new two-year deal.

Former Arsenal centre-back Mikael Silvestre has also called on Jardim to replace the legendary manager, believing he would be better suited in charge compared to Diego Simeone.
He said on Soccer AM: “You should look at someone who practices attacking football, like a Leonardo Jardim at Monaco.
“I would not fancy Diego Simeone to come and play a tight two lines in front of the goalkeeper.
“The Arsenal way of playing is attacking football, so you want to keep that.”
