MOHAMED SALAH’S family will ‘sacrifice three calves’ to bless him ahead of the Champions League final against Real Madrid, according to reports in Egypt.
The Liverpool superstar, a practising Muslim, will not be fasting for Ramadan today.

According to Egyptian newspaper Al Masry al Youm (via Spanish newspaper Sport) his family will slaughter three calves on Salah’s behalf, in line with tradition.
The claims appear unsubstantiated, with the the paper also claiming that Salah would be fasting for the Kiev final.
Reds physio Ruben Pons has already confirmed that Salah would NOT be fasting on the day of the game.
Pons told Spanish radio Cadena SER: “We were in Marbella and the nutritionist established a work plan.

“Tomorrow and the day of the match he won’t, so it’s not going to affect him.”
It is permissible for a fasting person to break fast if they travel – which Salah will be.
Sadio Mane and Emre Can are also devout Muslims, but their plans are not clear.
