The 35-year-old is being rewarded for his time at the club with a match between United’s team of 2008 against Carrick’s all-stars including John Terry and Clarence Seedorf.
But staff made a blunder when they spelled his name ‘Michael Carrtick’ when the team-sheet was released.
Not only that but they also manage to spell manager of the all-stars Harry Redknapp’s name wrong with ‘Harry Rednapp.’
In the opposite dugout is legendary United boss Sir Alex Ferguson who flew back after watching former star Cristiano Ronaldo lift the Champions League on Saturday.
