Mauro Icardi to Arsenal: Inter Milan star’s sexy wife and AGENT flies to London for showdown talks over £43million Gunners move

ARSENAL are meeting with target Mauro Icardi’s wife and agent in the hopes of brokering a £43million deal, according to reports.

The Inter Milan striker, 23, looks destined to leave the San Siro this summer.

And Wag Wanda Nara is today meeting the Gunners for them to make an offer for her husband, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport.

Wanda this week claimed Arsenal were not interested in Icardi and that Napoli and Juventus “would like to sign him”.

But it appears Arsene Wenger has stepped up his interest in the Argentine ace.

And the proposed talks are worrying news for North London rivals Tottenham, who have also been linked with the Inter captain.

Arsenal are in the market for a new striker and have been heavily linked with Napoli hitman Gonzalo Higuain.

But the Argie’s massive £79m release clause means the Gunners could miss out to Juve.

The Serie A giants will have cash to spend if they accept an improved offer from Manchester United for Paul Pogba – having today rejected a £100m bid.

Icardi scored 16 league goals last season in 34 games for the Nerazzurri.
