MATHIEU DEBUCHY has added to Arsenal’s injury woes after Arsene Wenger revealed that the defender will face six weeks out with a “severe hamstring injury.”
The right-back lasted just 16 minutes in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth before he had to be replaced with Gabriel following a recurrence of a hamstring problem.

He joins the likes of Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck, Hector Bellerin and Per Mertesacker who are all on the treatment table.
It comes as a huge blow for the 31-year-old who returned to the starting line-up for the first time in a year.
And boss Wenger reveals that Debuchy is ‘absolutely disappointed’ after the results of his scan revealed the damage.
He said: “It’s a severe hamstring injury, six weeks out.
“It’s frustrating more for him, he has exceptional attitude, he is absolutely disappointed, but he will fight to come back.”

Debuchy was expected to leave the Emirates in January as Marseille plotted a transfer but his move to Ligue 1 is now in jeopardy.
The Gunners were dealt with a huge blow on Thursday when it was revealed Cazorla will undergo ankle surgery ruling him out of action for up to three months.

Wenger admitted he wanted to avoid surgery but had to come to a conclusion.
The Frenchman added: “It’s very bad news, I always do everything possible to avoid surgery, when you can avoid it, you have to.
“In this case, we have to come to this conclusion. He will be out for two months at least, but could be three.”
Wenger confirmed that Arsenal will not look to replace the Spaniard when the January transfer window reopens or look into the possibility of recalling Jack Wilshere back from his loan at Bournemouth.
Carl Jenkinson is expected to start at right-back when Arsenal travel to West Ham on Saturday evening.
Mohamed Elneny is out of the Premier League clash and striker Olivier Giroud also remains a doubt.
