MARSEILLE supporters clashed with police ahead of their Ligue 1 match with PSG with four offices reportedly injured.
The Stade Velodrome clash is so explosive that Paris fans were banned from attending and without an obvious enemy, the Marseille thugs turned their attention to the police.

The hooligans were blasted with tear gas and water cannons in a bid by the police to subdue them.
It is the third season in a row that PSG fabs have been banned from attending the French derby dubbed the Classique.
But the preventative steps taken failed to deter the trouble makers who clashed with police.
Former West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet refused to add fuel to the fire when he was asked to preview the Sunday night game.

The ex-Hammer said: “There is no need to talk before the match.
“If you do not have the desire, you should not be there.”
“There is a gap between the two teams but we cannot let that show on the pitch.
“You have to respect PSG, like all our opponents, but you must not just watch them play.
“We are motivated, it is a long time since OM have beaten PSG. It’s hard, we want to finally beat them.

“It will be a great atmosphere. This match is important for us, the club, the city and the supporters.
“But we must not try to push it too much.
“PSG have their weaknesses and we have to exploit them.
“The key is to use the ball well. Keeping the ball from them can weaken this team.”
