Marouane Chamakh’s West Brom trial ended by horror tackle as he hobbles off after 25 minutes against Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos
MAROUANE CHAMAKH’S bid to resurrect his Premier League career with West Brom suffered heartache as his debut was ended ended by a horror tackle.
The former Arsenal striker, 32, hobbled off just 25 minutes into the Baggies’ 1-0 friendly win against Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos.

Culprit Anas Edathodika was hauled off straight away.
But that was little consolation for Morocco star Chamakh, who has been without a club since Crystal Palace released him this summer.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis – who managed Chamakh during his year in charge at Selhurst Park – is keen to increase his attacking options, particularly after failing to boost his squad in the transfer window.

Chamakh is still training with Palace, thanks to boss Alan Pardew’s invitation to keep fit there.
And he is thought to have a handful of Continental clubs after him, while Norwich are understood to have been in touch over a season-long deal.
