Manuel Lanzini charged for diving after FA decide to punish West Ham ace retrospectively for simulation against Stoke

MANUEL LANZINI has been retrospectively charged by the FA for his dive against Stoke.

The West Ham ace was adjudged to have simulated after what seemed like minimal contact from Potters defender Erik Pieters.

The 24-year-old will become the second Premier League player charged with the offence after Everton’s Oumar Niasse was banned for two games.

An FA statement said Lanzini was charged for “successful deception of a match official.”
