A number of teams are believed to be keeping an eye on Harrop, who scored on his full debut against Crystal Palace in May.

And Yahoo Sport FR via GFFN claims Rennes and Bordeaux have both been approached by the player’s agent.

Whether Harrop receives an offer from Ligue 1 remains to be seen, but he will surely be hoping to instead remain at Old Trafford.

The attacking midfielder has been with United since 2012 and made headlines with his debut goal in the Premier League last month.

Jose Mourinho has shown he is willing to put his faith in youngsters to provide back-up for the senior stars.

And following his strike against Palace, Harrop’s aunt Maxine made a brilliant phonecall to MUTV to heap praise on the prodigy.

She said: “All our family are chuffed, they are all red. He has been there since he was seven. None of his family will forget it.”
