JOSE MOURINHO will only move for Monaco star Fabinho if he is unable to lure Eric Dier or Nemanja Matic over to Manchester United.
The defensive midfielder has been an integral part of the French club that clinched a historic Ligue 1 title, but the Red Devils boss only sees him as a third choice.

Tottenham’s midfield linchpin Dier is the number one target for the 54-year-old this summer, as Mourinho believes he can add some much-needed steel to his side.
Spurs will be reluctant to sell the English international who they signed in 2014 from Sporting Lisbon for £4million, as they look likely to lose right-back fellow key player Kyle Walker to United’s rivals Manchester City.
The former Chelsea boss will also look towards Matic who he coached during his stay at the Blues, and the 29-year-old is believed to be open to a move to Old Trafford as he finds himself in a squad rotation system with Cesc Fabregas.
His place in the side would also be in jeopardy if Antonio Conte brings in Fabinho‘s team-mate Tiemoue Bakayoko to Stamford Bridge.
