MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly preparing a £50million bid for Napoli star Jorginho.
The Star claims Jose Mourinho will make his move this summer to beat off competition from rivals Liverpool.
Manchester City have also been linked with Jorginho, 26, who has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A this season.
The deep-lying playmaker is leading Napoli’s drive towards the title and has been attracting interest as a result.
Jorginho was said to have been just one of six midfielders United were looking at.
Michael Carrick is retiring while Marouane Fellaini will leave on a free transfer.
