VICTOR LINDELOF’S girlfriend has seemingly confirmed the defender’s reported transfer to Manchester United on social media.
Benfica star Lindelof is apparently closing in on a Red Devils deal and partner Maja Nilsson has indicated a move is on the cards with a very telling picture.

The snap shows Lindelof and his friend enjoying a game of PlayStation in a barren-looking room, with an empty-but-open suitcase in the bottom right-hand side.
And perhaps giving the game away is Nilsson’s caption, which translates from Swedish into: “There came a man who look through the apartment today to give us a housecleaning price. Slightly ashamed when I opened this door.”
It’s believed Lindelof will finally link up with Jose Mourinho in a deal worth around £42million.

But reports late last month claimed the Special One had pulled the plug due to Benfica’s asking price.
Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones have impressed recently, and it was said Mourinho did not feel there was a need for such an expensive addition.

However, it now seems the transfer is back on following Eric Bailly’s departure to the African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.
Whether there are any more arrivals at Old Trafford remains to be seen, but it’s reckoned Mourinho will wait until summer to reinforce his squad.
