MANCHESTER UNITED’S new Swedish target has admitted it is fun to be linked with the Premier League giants as his reputation as the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic grows.
Jesper Karlsson is pulling up trees with Falkenberg, despite being rooted to the bottom of the Swedish top-flight, and has been scouted by the Old Trafford club.

The 18-year-old has burst into the first team this season and is already the club’s joint leading scorer with four finishes.
The attacking midfielder has also chipped in with two assists in a side that looks destined for relegation.
After the latest hammering on Monday night, at the hands of Hammarby, the rising teen star opened up on the Premier League speculation.
Karlsson said: “It is of course fun. But I cannot do anything more than to just do my best and go out and perform. The check happened and they think I'm good, it’s just a plus.
“I do not want to speculate on that now as follows right after, but we'll see how it goes in the future.”

The super-talent is under contract in Sweden until 2018 but the club’s sporting director is ready and willing to receive inviting offers – especially with his side poised for a drop in divisions.
Hakan Nilsson said: “It may mean that he stays with us, but it depends on what the player wants and we may make an agreement.
“We will see that it is good for Jesper's development so we will probably let him go away to a club.

“It's possible that they (Man United) have expressed interest. They just like a number of other major clubs.
“I do not think anything right now. First and foremost, we need any kind of formal offer made to us from any club and that has not happened yet.”
