MANCHESTER UNITED are interested in signing Milan Badelj after scouting the Fiorentina star earlier this month.
Reports in Italy claim Jose Mourinho is following Badelj as he seeks to strengthen his midfield options.

Badelj operates as a deep-lying playmaker and he could be just the man to replace veteran Michael Carrick.
The Croatia international is out of contract in 2018 and Firenze Viola claims United sent scouts to watch him in the 4-0 defeat to Roma over a week ago.
However, United are set to face competition from the capital club as well as AC Milan.

Badelj is regarded as one of Serie A’s top midfielders and has plenty of experience at 28-years-old.
It’s added Fiorentina do have the option to extend his contract by a further year.

But they are apparently willing to cash in, with Badelj’s agent admitting the Premier League would be a tempting switch.
Dejan Joksimovic told Express: “The Premier League is always attractive, for all the players in the world. If he leaves Fiorentina all the options are available.”
