MANCHESTER UNITED have been offered Atletico Madrid star Bernard Mensah – who is currently on loan at Victoria Guimaraes.
The Ghana international, 21, was in action the Portuguese club as they drew 1-1 with Belenenses in the Primera Liga.

According to reports, Mensah comes highly recommended by superagent Jorge Mendes, who represents United boss Jose Mourinho and Old Trafford legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester United have previous form with players from Vitoria Guimaraes – former winger Bebe came from the club to United for £7.4million in 2010.
The winger turned out to be one of the biggest flops in United’s recent history, but even more bizarre was that he moved to Vitoria earlier that summer for £125,000.

Scouts from Monaco and Sevilla also turned up to watch Mensah and a number of other players.
Mensah was linked with a move to United in the summer of 2015 before being snapped up by Atletico Madrid.
