Manchester United transfer news: Anthony Martial wanted by PSG but forward answers critics with two goals against West Ham in EFL Cup triumph
ANTHONY MARTIAL is being targeted in a sensational swoop by Paris Saint-Germain after struggling to hold down a place at Manchester United.
The 20-year-old has been dropped by United boss Jose Mourinho in recent weeks, and his form has dipped in his second season at the club.

PSG wanted to sign the France international before he joined the Red Devils for £36million from Monaco in 2015.

And the French giants are looking to bring him back to Ligue 1, after he fell out-of-favour with Mourinho.
A United source said: “It is well known PSG are very keen if the club does consider selling.
“He has been dropped recently against Feyenoord and West Ham and has generally struggled for form.”
Mourinho warned Martial last week that he was fighting for his Old Trafford career and his chances were running out.

“Anthony was OK for Feyenoord. I cannot play with 12 players. The players have to win their positions.
“They are friends, they are colleagues who work together every day but in the end they compete between themselves to have more chance to play.”
Martial has made 13 appearances for United so far this season, mostly off the bench.
He started on the wing in United’s EFL Cup match against West Ham at Old Trafford tonight.
