MANCHESTER UNITED striker James Wilson has joined Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season.
Wilson, 22, was handed his first-team debut by United interim boss Ryan Giggs in 2014 scoring a brace in the home win against Hull.

Wilson went on to score two more goals for United under Louis Van Gaal, but fell down the pecking order after the arrival of Radamel Falcao and the emergence of Marcus Rashford.
The Blades are seventh in the Championship and still have a chance of grabbing a play-off spot and boss Chris Wilder is excited at the prospect of working with the Old Trafford academy product.
Wilder told the club website: “James has a fantastic pedigree having come through the ranks at Manchester United and importantly has some good Championship experience.
“He says he is raring to go and is the fittest he has ever been, so couple that with his undoubted ability and desire to impress, than I’m sure he will improve the group.”

This will be Wilson’s third loan spell in the Championship.
The striker hit five goals for Chris Hughton’s Brighton in the 2015/16 season and a loan stint the season after at Derby was cut short by a serious knee injury.
