MANCHESTER UNITED star Romelu Lukaku claims his ankle injury progress is going “faster than expected” ahead of the FA Cup final.
The striker was forced off during the recent win over Arsenal and missed last weekend’s defeat to Brighton as a result.

There were fears that Lukaku could miss the FA Cup final against Chelsea later this month.
But it seems the 24-year-old is making a speedy recovery after flying to Belgian city Antwerp for treatment.
Lukaku is undergoing rehabilitation at the Move to Cure centre with world-renowned physio Lieven Maesschalck.
And the ace is confident of returning to the pitch sooner rather than later, saying: “My recovery is going faster than expected, as always.”

Boss Jose Mourinho also expects Lukaku to be available for the crunch Chelsea clash, adding: “FA Cup final? I hope so. Looks positive.”
It’s good news for the Special One, who blamed Friday’s defeat to Brighton on bit-part players who struggled to make an impact.
FIGHTING FIT Lukaku handed new nickname by Man Utd pals for incredible training ethic
He said: “Maybe now you will not ask me why A, B and C do not play so much. People always ask: ‘Why Lukaku?’
“Well now they know why always Lukaku, and why always this player and why always that player. We are probably not as good as people think we are individually.”
