DIDIER DESCHAMPS has defended Manchester United ace Paul Pogba and claimed he is being put under too much pressure to be a world-beater.
Pogba has taken time to find his best form for United since making his world record £109million move to Old Trafford during the summer.

The French midfielder has struggled to reproduce the dominating performances that marked him out as such a driving force for Juventus in Serie A.
But France boss Deschamps says it is time people stopped expecting too much from the 23-year-old too soon.

Deschamps said:"He has changed his club team and needs to find his bearing with his new teammates.
"With Paul, we always expect more. When he does something neutral, often it is not enough.
"He is someone we expect to make assists in every game - there is an expectation that is too large.

"Paul is OK in his own head. He knows what he wants."
Pogba has scored just one goal in eight appearances since returning to United in the summer as he adjust to life in the Premier League.
Much of his early season struggles have been put down to the fact manager Jose Mourinho is still trying to discover the formation and team that is most effective.
