Manchester United star Marcus Rashford urged to take advantage of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s suspension by club legend Gary Neville
MARCUS RASHFORD has been urged to take advantage of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s suspension when he leads the line for Manchester United this weekend.
Former Red Devil and TV pundit Gary Neville reckons the youngster has failed to hit the heights of last season but now has the chance to prove his worth against Middlesbrough on Sunday.

The England international has mainly been deployed as a left winger and has seen the goals dry up as a result.
But Neville feels Rashford can now remind everyone of his talents against Boro this weekend, with the teen set to fill in for Ibrahimovic as the Swede serves the second game of his three-match suspension.

Neville told Omnisport: “[Rashford] is not getting overplayed, he is able to learn at a more calm pace.
“The bad is that at times maybe his form hasn’t been as good as it was last season. He needs to reproduce that standard he set last season.

“There’s potentially always going to be a fall in a young player. There is going to be ups and downs and inconsistency. Maybe now, he has a chance to show what he is. He can have confidence knowing he will play.
“It’s good that they’re not relying upon him in every single game, but in some ways he needs to stand up and take the opportunity.”
