Manchester United players show off new kit in fabulous launch during pre-season in Shanghai

MANCHESTER UNITED showed off their new kit in a stunning showpiece in Shanghai.

Jose Mourinho, Wayne Rooney and David De Gea were all in attendance at the launch of their strip for the 2016-17 season.

The Red Devils’ new look is slightly slicker with the three Adidas stripes now appearing underneath the arm rather than above it.

While the collar is more rounded compared to last season’s v-neck.

And, of course — it’s red.

This is the second of United’s ten-year £750million sponsorship deal with the German sportswear giants following 13 years with Nike.

Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Daley Blind showcased flicks and tricks with the football as they enjoyed the spotlight in front of their adoring fans.

It was as stunning event as the United players were introduced on stage with some traditional Chinese dancing.

The Red Devils are in China for their pre-season tour.

However, they got off to the worst start possible as they were hammered 4-1 by Borussia Dortmund.

Goals from Gonzalo Castro, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the impressive Ousmane Dembele saw they Germans race into the a 3-0 half-time lead.

New signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan pulled one back against his former club.

But Castro completed the route with a superb fourth for Dortmund late on.

Unite will face rivals Man City in their next friendly on Monday.
