LUKE SHAW may keep his place in the Manchester United side to face Swansea despite his falling-out with Jose Mourinho.
Shaw was singled out for criticism by Mourinho after he hauled the defender off at half-time in the club’s FA Cup win over Brighton last time out.

It then emerged the defender had been involved in a heated training ground row with his manager – leaving his Old Trafford future in doubt.
But the United boss has revealed he may start with Shaw for the clash with relegation threatened Swans because Ashley Young has an injury problem.
Young suffered a minor knee injury on international duty in England’s 1-1 draw against Italy, and though he has trained there are concerns that he could make it worse if he plays.
Mourinho said: “If he’s available Luke Shaw is always an option.

“Ashley Young was available to play against Brighton so I started with Luke Shaw, so that’s not a problem.
“Ashley Young had a problem in the last part of the game against Italy but we think there is a chance for him to recover.”

Shaw is understood to have knuckled down in training since his public dressing-down from his manager, refusing to give up on his United career.
And the 22-year-old old is also said to have asked Mourinho why he was always being singled out in an effort to clear the air.

Shaw still has one year left on his Old Trafford contract, but unless his issues with Mourinho are sorted soon it seems likely he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Yet despite his troubles at United, there appears no shortage of sides who would be interested in snapping him up if he became available – including Barcelona.
Chelsea have also shown an interest in taking him to Stamford Bridge, rivalling London rivals Tottenham in the chase for the former Southampton defender.
