VICTOR LINDELOF has revealed he needed no persuasion from countryman Zlatan Ibrahimovic to join Manchester United.
The 22-year-old finally completed his move to Old Trafford on Wednesday after months of speculation.

He flew in for a medical this morning and was given the all-clear before the Red Devils announced his £31million signing from Benfica.
Speaking for the first time after the move, the centre-half admitted he had not spoken to Swedish legend and United’s top scorer from last season Ibrahimovic.
And he also revealed that he could be following in the footsteps of greats like David Beckham by becoming the side’s new set-piece specialist.
When quizzed about seeking advice from Zlat, he told MUTV: “No, actually I haven’t. I haven’t spoken to him.

“It’s going to be nice to have him around to speak to him a little bit (while he undergoes rehab) about the club and everything around it. It’s going to be good.”
Lindelof has developed a reputation for scoring free-kicks and said: “Yeah, I’m quite good at them.
“If I get an opportunity to take a free-kick, I think I’ll be there.”
Lindelof is equally at home playing right-back as well as his usual centre-half position.

Next season he will be battling it out with Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones for a place in Jose Mourinho’s defence.
And after sealing his “dream” move, he is ready for the challenge.
He added: “Of course there are some great players here in my position. I’m here to do my best to try to help the team as much as I can and it’s always good to have other good players around you.
