NEMANJA MATIC has revealed what Jose Mourinho wrote to him during Manchester United’s win over Chelsea.
Substitute Eric Bailly handed the Serbian midfielder a note from the boss as he ran on to the pitch with 10 minutes to go.

And sharing a photo of the piece of paper on Instagram, Matic let everyone know Mourinho still has a strong sense of humour.
The note read: “You have 3 days off.”
It was accompanied with a smiling face and former Chelsea star Matic posted a smiling face emoji alongside the image.
Jesse Lingard scored the winner after Willian had put the visitors ahead before Romelu Lukaku silenced the critics with his well-taken equaliser.

And it was the Brazilian star who tried to sneak a peek of the message as Bailly handed it over.
Willian chased Matic around the pitch as he sought desperately to see what his former manager had told him to do.

Matic did have one of his best performances in a United shirt as his side picked up a valuable three points to remain in second.
And he insisted he had extra determination to beat the Blues after becoming unsettled at his old club.

Asked if he wanted three points more because it was against his old side, Matic said: “Of course. I played for Chelsea for three-and-a-half years and I gave them my best to win against them and show my quality again.
“I didn’t have anything to prove to them. I wanted to show my new club that I deserve to wear this Manchester United shirt.
“I don’t want to speak about why I left Chelsea. I will keep that to myself.
“I’m happy in Manchester and that’s it. Moving to United was good for me. I play for a big club.
“This was a big win and I hope the team will continue like this because every game in this league is a war.”
