SIR ALEX FERGUSON struggled to hide his anger after watching Manchester United crash out of the Champions League.
United legend Ferguson was in the stands at Old Trafford hoping to watch his old club make easy meat of Sevilla in the last 16 tie.

But instead he was forced to sit through a shocking display from Jose Mourinho’s side as the La Liga club collected a 2-1 win to make it through to the quarter-finals.
And as the teams trudged off at the final whistle, Ferguson appeared to drop his guard and let his anger show through.
The television cameras appeared to show the club’s greatest ever manager pointing to the pitch in fury at the display he had just witnessed.
The footage was posted on Twitter by one United fan, who wrote: “Fergie’s face says it all… #ComeBackFergie #MUFC”.

Ferguson, 76. is still a regular in the directors box at Old Trafforf on matchdays despite heading off into retirement four years go.
He is usually good at not betraying his feelings in public, but on this occasion it appears he was unable to stop himself.
NO MOUR Jose Mourinho’s past means nothing at Man Utd – football has moved on and he’s being left behind
While it is uncertain just what Ferguson thought of United’s display, he has long been a supporter of Mourinho in his role at Old Trafford.
But Mourinho himself is facing criticism for the way he sent his team out to play the game on the back of a goalless draw in the first leg in Spain.

Some sections of the supporters called for the Portuguese boss to be sacked after the dismal display given by his side.
And Mourinho then upset others with his bizarre post-match press conference where he highlighted the two times he himself had beaten United at the same stage of the competition.
One of the players coming in for the most criticism is January signing Alexis Sanchez who again disappointed last night.
Former United defender, working at the game as a pundit for BT Sport, claimed Sanchez is playing as a shadow of the player he was.
