ROY KEANE has slammed Manchester City after their Champions League draw with Celtic, insisting: ‘They’re not good enough.’
The Manchester United legend pulled no punches when asked to assess his former club’s fierce rivals on ITV after the 1-1 stalemate at the Etihad.

He said: “Their squad probably isn’t as good as Manchester City think or even the manager.
“Obviously they knew they were already through but they showed a lot of disrespect to Celtic and Celtic were the slightly better team and could have gone on to win.”
Pep Guardiola’s side fell behind in bizarre circumstances when 19-year-old Patrick Roberts – on loan at Celtic from City – cut inside from the wing to put the Scottish champions in front with a fine finish.

Fellow youngster Kelechi Iheanacho, 20, levelled things up to give a further glimpse of what the future might look like in the blue half of Manchester.
Roberts is due to return to the club at the end of this season.

And Keane, who spent the final year of his playing career at Celtic, did reserve some kind words for the England youth international.
He added: “He’s a good player and took full advantage of the opportunity.
“Having said that, I thought the defending from Manchester City was absolutely shocking.

“They showed a lot of arrogance towards the game and perhaps disrespect to Celtic.”
City went through as runners-up behind Barcelona in Group C and now face a potentially tricky tie in the last 16.
Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund or Juventus represent the toughest possible opponents.
Napoli or Monaco might provide a slightly easier route to the quarter-finals.
The draw will be made on Monday December 12, live on BT Sport.
