And it now seems that Real Madrid will be the next club to reap the benefits of wearing a logo on their jersey.
OkDiaro via AS claims the Spanish giants, who are currently with Adidas, are set to be poached by Nike.
Real chiefs are reportedly unhappy that they lag behind United in Adidas’ eyes, earning just £33.5m-a-year.
And the club are allegedly ready to end an 18-year long relationship by penning a deal with Nike instead.

It’s claimed the potential new sponsors are offering £100m-a-year instead, putting Real ahead of United and putting them far closer to Barca, and Nike are hoping their proposition pays off.
OkDiaro’s Eduardo Inda said: “Madrid have a contract with Adidas, and they’ve found out that United have signed a huge contract with the same brand.
“The club are the champions of Europe, while United have won nothing. That’s provoked Nike into offering Madrid 120 million euros per season.”
