JOSHUA KIMMICH is reportedly close to extending his Bayern Munich contract.
The 22-year-old, unearthed by Pep Guardiola, has been linked with Manchester City.

Kimmich’s ability to play right-back, centre-back and central midfield makes him a vital player for Bayern.
And the Bundesliga champions are now moving to secure his long-term future before City can make any sort of play.
Kicker claims Kimmich will soon be contracted to the Allianz Arena until 2023.
The Germany international can also expect to receive a significant pay-rise, reflecting his new role as one of Bayern’s most important players.

Kimmich’s agent Uli Ferber revealed last month that talks were ongoing between the club and his client.
He said: “In the summer, Karl Heinz-Rummenigge came to us for the first time to discuss whether we can extend our association.
“We sat down together for the first time in the fall and will again one more time by the end of the year to lead the discussions.
“There is much to support an agreement given Kimmich’s star has continued to rise.”
