However, Spanish giants Barca appear to be Gabriel’s preferred choice.

He told Catalan media outlet, SPORT, it would be a “dream” to play for Luis Enrique’s men.

Gabriel has been billed as the new Neymar in his homeland — and could even be his compatriot’s replacement, should he move to United or Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

These latest reports coincide with Barca director, Raul Sanllehi’s presence in Sao Paulo — the city where the Brazil starlet plies his trade with Palmeiras.

Gabriel is regarded as the only truly world class centre forward to emerge from his homeland in recent seasons and is a target for almost every big club in Europe.

Pep Guardiola has pinpointed him as a definite summer target for City.

While United, Bayern and Juventus have all registered interest in the player.

A transfer for Gabriel would be complicated as the player has TWO release clauses.

Barca, Bayern, United, PSG and Real Madrid could land him for £16.7m.

While every other club would need to cough up £27.8m.

Juventus have reportedly started their bidding at £14.6m, but are unlikely to land their man.

Gabriel is likely to come to the world’s attention this summer, as he is expected to be named in Brazil’s squad for the Rio Olympics.
