From there they moved on to LIV nightclub – dressed to impress – where they bumped into former boxer and famous City fan Hatton.

The Etihad side had earlier in the day thumped Watford 5-0 at Vicarage Road as they confirmed their spot in the Champions League for 2017-18.

After the dazzling result, the squad travelled back to Manchester for their night on the tiles.

Once they were done refuelling at Neighbourhood, they descended on the Manchester city centre nightclub, just up the road from the Opera House.

Despite a disappointing debut season for City - the first time Guardiola has failed to win a trophy in a season - they will take solace from the fact they made the top four.

Aguero netted twice, with Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho and Vincent Kompany all making the scoresheet against the Hornets.

Guardiola is set to boost his squad in the summer window as he looks to enjoy more success in his second season in England.

Stars such as Monaco's Fabinho, Youri Tielemans and Joshua Kimmich are just three European giants on their radar.
