Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus has the best minutes per goal and assist ratio in the Premier League this season

GABRIEL JESUS has enjoyed an impressive start to his career at Manchester City.

After all, joining one of the fastest-paced leagues in the world, halfway through a season, aged just 19-years-old, is not easy.

But despite all that, the young Brazilian, 20, has already scored six goals and dished out three assists in just 560 minutes of action – due to his stint on the sidelines through injury.

Arguably the most-impressive feat of all though is that fact Jesus – a comparative rookie – has at times kept star Premier League veteran Sergio Aguero out of the City starting XI.

Jesus’ hot start to life in England has seen him be involved in a goal every 62.2 minutes of on-field action.

That tally is easily the best in the Premier League for players to have spent over 500 minutes on the pitch.

In second place is Jesus' City team-mate Kelechi Iheanacho with one goal or assist every 72.6 minutes.

The Brazilian's introduction to the Etihad set-up in January has seen the Nigerian somewhat frozen out, but the latter has more than proven himself to be able to cut it in the top flight.

In third place is another bench-warmer, Cesc Fabregas with a goal involvement every 77.3 minutes, with an incredible 11 assists this term.

North Londoners Oliver Giroud (79.6), Harry Kane (84.4) and Alexis Sanchez (95.6) come in next, with Romelu Lukaku not far behind on 105.9.

Crocked Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic was involved in a goal every 110.8 minutes before his injury.

Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho and Leicester forward Islam Slimani complete the top ten on 11.3 and 114 respectively.
