Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson furiously shoves Sadio Mane four times and reminds him of kick to face

MANCHESTER CITY keeper Ederson reignites his feud with Sadio Mane by furiously pushing the Liverpool forward in the chest four times.

The Brazilian reacted with rage after Mane slid into City defender Nicolas Otamendi during the first-half of their Champions League quarter-final second leg.

Otamendi rolled around on the floor after being caught by the Senegal star.

And Ederson rushed out to confront Mane.

It was of course the Liverpool star who kicked Ederson in the head earlier this season.

Mane was shown a red card for his sickening lunge during the 5-0 defeat at the Etihad in September.

A photo of Ederson’s bloodied face – with around five stitches on his cheek – was shared on social media.

Ederson was given oxygen and taken off the pitch on a stretcher.

He was not involved in the actual challenge tonight but still saw an opportunity to get in Mane’s face.

And Ederson held two fingers up to Mane – perhaps indicating that was the second time he had lunged in on a City player.

Mane was booked for his challenge on Otamendi and Ederson also got a yellow.

City took the lead through just two minutes after Gabriel Jesus’ strike.
