Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany is facing another spell on the sidelines with injury after limping off against Swansea City in the League Cup.
The defender cut a forlorn figure as he trudged off late on South Wales as his side eased to a 2-1 win against the Swans.

The win was the 30-year-old first appearance since the Champions League semi final second leg against Real Madrid in May.
