MANCHESTER CITY go into their Champions League last-16, second-leg clash with Monaco with a 5-3 advantage.
Pep Guardiola‘s men battled hard to walk away from the clash at the Etihad triumphant – with a two-goal cushion.

However, City’s route to the quarter-finals isn’t anywhere near as clear-cut as it first appears… as they will first need to tame Monaco’s front-line.

It came as no real surprise when the Ligue 1 outfit managed to find the back of the net three times against City in the first leg.
Not only if the Premier League club’s defence sorely sub-par this season, there is no better attack in all of Europe than Leonardo Jardim’s Monaco.

As well as scoring more goals this season than Barcelona, Real Madrid, Napoli and Roma on 84, no Ligue 1 team has scored this many goals in a league campaign in nearly 60 years.
It's been a real team effort - in fact, an incredible NINE players have all scored more than five times this campaign.
We run down all nine ahead of Wednesday's crucial showdown at the Stade Louis II...
RADAMEL FALCAO - 16 goals

LEGEND at Atletico Madrid, total dud at Manchester United and Chelsea, Falcao is back to his fear-inducing best at Monaco.
The Colombian hitman has 16 Ligue 1 goals this season to go with four in the Champions League, including two in the first-leg in Manchester.
KYLIAN MBAPPE - 10

A RELATIVE unknown coming into this season, Mbappe is suddenly the hottest prospect in Europe.
The young forward, 18, has smashed ten league goals already this season and even scored in the first-leg against Manchester City last month.
VALERE GERMAIN - 9

AFTER a successful spell away at Nice last season, Germain is firing the goals in for Monaco this term.
The Frenchman has scored ten goals in all competitions this season and played at the Etihad three weeks ago.
THOMAS LEMAR - 7

MIDFIELD maestro Lemar is another star to be attracting the attention of Europe's big boys.
And rightly so, Lemar has scored nine times in all competitions this season, while impressively being booked just once - in the French League Cup.
GUIDO CARRILLO - 7

WITH such a host of attacking talent in front of him, it's hard for Carillo to command too many starts under Jardim.
However, he's taken his chances well this season in notching seven goals for the Ligue 1 outfit.
FABINHO - 7

COMBATIVE midfielder Fabinho is the name on a host of clubs' lips, including Manchester United.
While he is known for his hard-hitting tackling in the middle of the park, racking up ten bookings this season, he's also chipped in with a vital seven goals.
BERNARDO SILVA - 6

SKILFUL midfielder Silva is another of Monaco's young, hot prospects.
But Jardim will be hoping to keep hold of his star who's netted eight times in all competitions this season.
GABRIEL BOSCHILIA - 6

HARDLY a first-team regular, playing just 16 times in all competitions this season,. Boschilia is no stranger to finding the net.
In fact, in just 11 Ligue 1 games, he's netted six times, to go with a brace in his sole Coupe de la Ligue game this term.
KAMIL GLIK - 5

IT'S not just the conventional attackers getting on the score-sheet for Monaco this term.
In fact, centre-back Glik has chipped in with five goals in 2016-17 - the ninth player in the current squad to obtain at least that tally.
