ABERDEEN have agreed a deal to sign Nigerian midfielder Chidi Nwakali on loan from Manchester City.
The 21-year-old has jetted out to Dubai to join the Dons at their winter training camp.
Nwakali has been on loan in Norway with outfit Sogndal.
But Premier League leaders City are eager to send the highly rated playmaker out for more top team experience.
Derek McInnes has been working on a deal for the last few months.
And he’s now thrilled to get the go-ahead with Nwakali snapped up until the end of the season.
Aberdeen still need to get a work permit sorted out but that’s expected to be a formality.
