Aguero, 29, has yet to feature for City since but shared a snap of him and his mum wishing her a happy mother’s day.

Aguero posted: “Happy day to all the mothers!!! I love you mommy.”

The former Atletico Madrid man was on the bench for City during their 7-2 win against Stoke at the weekend.

Aguero was saved by his seatbelt when the Crysler PT Cruiser he was being driven in to the airport careered head on into a post.

He had been in the Netherlands for a pop concert following the Champions League victory at the Etihad Stadium against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Before the show Aguero sent a social media post out saying thanks for the invitation complete with a photo of himself and Colombian singer Maluma.

But, just hours later, it appears the taxi he was returning to the airport in collided with a pole.

The airbags were deployed and no other car appears to be involved from the photos available.
