FORMER Manchester United and Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has signed for non-league AFC Telford United.
The 31-year-old has been a free agent since he was released by Chesterfield following their relegation from League One last season.

And now the former Premier League hotshot and Old Trafford academy has opted to continue his career in the sixth-tier with the Conference North outfit.
Ebanks-Blake began training with the Bucks last month after having a trial with a Belgian side, and now he has agreed to join Rob Edwards’ side.
The Telford boss said: “I am absolutely delighted to have secured the signing of Sylvan, he has been training with us for a while and we thought it may not happen at one point, but I am very happy to have got him signed and he will no doubt become a real coup for the club.
“Sylvan joins the club with a great attitude and feels he has a point still to prove in his career.”

Edwards, who was a team-mate of the forward at Molineux, added: “It’s important we don’t expect to much too soon however with his experience he will be able to help the younger players in the squad and will become a really positive addition to the team.”
Ebanks-Blake came through Manchester United‘s famed academy and appeared several times for the Red Devils in the League Cup.

He bagged his first goal under Sir Alex Ferguson against Barnet in the competition back in 2005 before he suffered a fractured leg and missed the rest of the campaign.
He went on to join then-Championship Plymouth and hit the goal trail before Wolves came calling and snapped him up for £1.5million in January 2008.

The star enjoyed three seasons in the Premier League during his time at Molineux after his 25 goals helped them to win promotion – earning him to Golden Boot award.
Following his departure from the club in 2013 he went on to sign for Ipswich, Preston, Shrewsbury and the Spireites.
After competing with the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Diego Forlan for a spot in United’s attack at the start of his career, Ebanks-Blake will now be fighting Burton loanee Marcus Dinaga and ex-Mansfield player Anthony Dwyer for a spot in the Bucks’ attack.
