The Red Devils are reeling from their shock home defeat to West Brom at the weekend, but Shaw, who didn’t feature in that game, is no shrinking violet as he showed off his fresh wrap.

And he will be hoping to attract the attentions of boss Jose Mourinho and get picked for the Red Devils’ trip to Bournemouth tomorrow night.

Paul Pogba, meanwhile, tried to keep a low profile as he drove into Carrington, keeping his head down and wearing a cap.

The French midfielder was hooked after just 58 minutes as United slumped to a 1-0 defeat to Premier League bottom club.

SunSport reported earlier today how Pogba’s career at Old Trafford is reportedly under threat after a series of bust-ups with boss Jose Mourinho.

The 25-year-old was involved in a fiery disagreement with Mourinho at half-time in the Manchester derby.

PAUL BEARER OF BAD NEWS Pogba looks to set to leave Man United after club grow tired of him

While nobody in the United side had come out of the first half with any credit it was Pogba who was the focus of the manager’s ire as the Red Devils trailed 2-0 at the break.

His anger only increased as Pogba sat and muttered under his breath as the manager was taking him to task in front of the other players for his performance.

Pogba responded with two goals in the second-half as United came back from to win 3-2.

It prompted a delighted Mourinho to do a massive u-turn at full time in the dressing room.

He told Pogba in front of all the players that he would have been his man of the match even without the two goals.

Pogba was left bemused by the whole affair that has put further strain on the relationship between player and manager.
