DAVID DE GEA is close to agreeing a new deal to stay at Manchester United.
The Spaniard is once again being courted by Real Madrid, but talks are said to be progressing over a new contract at Old Trafford worth around £220,000-a-week.

The Times reports that United are looking to keep him until at least the summer of 2021.
De Gea almost single-handedly secured the Red Devils a 0-0 draw away at Sevilla in their Champions League last 16 clash.
It led to him even being congratulated by the opposition for a wonder-save from Luis Muriel.
He is undoubtedly one of, if not the, first names on the team-sheet for Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, and now the 27-year-old is set to be rewarded.

Real Madrid are also interested in signing Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea, but De Gea remains their top choice.
But just like back in 2015, the Spanish giants look set to miss out on the goalkeeper once again.
Back then, the paperwork was delayed over a £29.3m move to the Bernabeu, with the upheaval leaving De Gea furious.
It led to the stopper agreeing a new deal to stay with the Premier League outfit.
