MANCHESTER UNITED have beaten their fierce city rivals to the signature of 16-year-old wonderkid Lukasz Bejger.
The Polish player is expected to join the summer intake at the club’s academy.
Bejger had a trial with United in August this year, and is believed to have impressed the coaches during the sessions.
The Manchester Evening News are reporting that a deal has been done and he will join the academy for the 2018/19 season.
The talented teen captains the Poland U16 team, and led the side for their game against Moldova last week.
He is primarily a centre-half, but can also play at right-back.
If he eventually plays for the United first team, he will become the first Polish player to achieve that feat.
