And Madonna was keen to show her support for Portugal as she took her seat with son David Banda, both draped with the country’s colours all over them.
And it’s not surprising.
Her son David plays for the Benfica Academy – but could have been turning out for Sporting Lisbon if a certain Cristiano Ronaldo had got his way.
CR7 failed to convince Madonna to get her son to sign for Sporting Lisbon.
Ronaldo kick-started his career at their fierce rivals Sporting before going on to win four Ballon d’Ors.
