The Sports Illustrated model was furious that two reporters left Verlander off their ballot for the American League Cy Young gong.
He came up just short of winning the prize, which is awarded to the regular season’s top pitcher.
Boston’s Rick Porcello picked up the prize in his place – but by just five points.
Upton’s tirade continued, however, when she wrote: “He [Verlander] had the majority of first place votes and two writers didn’t have him on their ballots?! Can you pick more out of touch people to vote? @MLB.”
