LIVERPOOL starlet Rhian Brewster will endure a lengthy spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery.
The 17-year-old suffered ankle ligament damage after falling awkwardly during an U23 clash against Manchester City.

After picking up the injury, the youngster received oxygen and was stretchered off the pitch at the end of the first half.

Two weeks after picking up the injury, the 17-year-old went under the knife to repair the damage.
He will now begin a period of rehab and recovery at the youth base in Kirkby.

Brewster is yet to make his senior debut for the Merseyside giants, but his absence will come as a devastating blow for the youngsters.
