LIVERPOOL are to turn their attention to RB Leipzig star Emil Forsgberg, after failing to land Christian Pulisic.
Borussia Dortmund kid Pulisic has been a long-time target for the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, but the Germans have stood firm and have told Liverpool the 18-year-old winger is not for sale.

Klopp is keen to bolster his squad this month to maintain the pursuit of Chelsea and the German has turned his attention to the young Swedish international.
The 25-year-old has shone for the Bundesliga outfit since joining from Swedish side Malmo in January 2015 for £3million.
The Swede is valued at £20million and has 24 caps for his country, scoring three goals.

Forsberg played his part as Liepzig secured promotion to the German top flight last season, the versatile attacking midfielder has been attracting attention from Europe’s elite clubs.
The midfielder was sent off in the recent defeat to champions Bayern Munich but has scored five goals and nine assists in 15 appearances so far this term.

Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl will be desperate to hold on to the Swede as the newly promoted side are just three points behind leaders Bayern in the title race.
The Red Bull backed club are on sound financial footing and are not desperate to cash in on any of their players.
Sporting director Ralf Rangnick has a policy of looking at all proposals if they provide value for money for the club and a sensible career move for the player.

Liverpool would find it difficult to prize Forsberg from Germany with Leipzig enjoying such a good start to the season, and with the prospect of qualifying for next seasons Champions League for the first time in the clubs history.

Meanwhile, the player's agent has already revealed that he has held talks with "major clubs".
“I have already been in meetings with major clubs regarding Forsberg," Hasan Cetinkaya told Aftonbladet last month.
"I have a picture in front of me. I will also be meeting with RB Leipzig, one must not forget that RB are also becoming a big club. They have done fantastic, fighting for the title and heading towards the Champions League.” Cetinkaya added.
