BORUSSIA DORTMUND duo Ousmane Dembele and Christian Pulisic claim they both rejected Liverpool in 2016.
The dynamic youngsters are still in their teens but have become key men for Thomas Tuchel this season.

Dembele joined from French side Rennes last summer while Pulisic is a product of the club’s highly-successful academy.
Former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp was keen to bring both of them to Anfield last year in a bid to bolster his attack.
Dembele was targeted while he was still at Rennes while Pulisic was wanted in the recent January transfer window.

But both players admit there was no way they’d swap Germany for England, with Dembele telling FourFourTwo: “I saw Klopp in Paris but I told him I had made up my mind to sign for Dortmund.”
Pulisic added: “I have respect for Klopp and I know him – he was very welcoming to me here – but I was never really thinking about going to Liverpool.
