LIVERPOOL battered Porto 5-0 on aggregate to reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2009.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have been ripping opponents’ defences to shreds this season, sticking five past the Portuguese giants and even seven past Maribor AND Spartak Moscow.

However, they face a real uphill battle in the quarter-finals… as they’re the least experienced side left in the competition.
Liverpool‘s inexperienced squad have combined for just 212 Champions League appearances – dead-last of the 12 teams left in the competitions.
Even Sevilla, Roma, Besiktas and Shakhtar Donetsk’s squads have more Champions League games played under their belts.
Spanish side Sevilla’s squad have a combined 215 Champions League appearances, while Roma have 262 – behind Besiktas (334) and Shakhtar (358).

At the other end of the table, Real Madrid – who’ve won the trophy in three of the last four seasons – sit top with a combined 818 appearances.
Even fellow Spanish giants Barcelona, with the likes of Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta on the books, are good only for second on 800.
REDS’ DERB-GLEE Liverpool have the edge over Man United going into derby… thanks to Salah and Oxlade-Chamberlain
Bayern Munich’s squad is the third-most experienced with 723 combined Champions League outings, ahead of Juventus (666), Manchester City (422) and United (386).
Chelsea sit narrowly behind their Premier League rivals, with a combined squad tally of 381 games.
