LIVERPOOL are favourites to sign Porto wonderkid Diogo Leite.
Despite bringing in the world’s most expensive defender in Virgil van Dijk for £75million in January, Jurgen Klopp is keen on more defensive reinforcements.

And according to The Guardian, 19-year-old centre-half Diogo Leite fits the bill.
Arsenal and Manchester City are also sniffing around, with the Gunners even prepared to meet the £13m release fee last summer.
But Porto held strong and convinced the teen to continue his development with the B team.
Once again the Portuguese giants are determined not to lose one of their top talents, but his performances have continued to attract attention.

And with Liverpool and Klopp building a strong reputation for giving youth a chance at Anfield, Leite could well favour a move to the Champions League finalists.
Leite was impressive once again for Porto U23s as they defeated their Arsenal counterparts 1-0 to win the Premier League International Cup this week.

It is believed Klopp will send Leite out on loan next season if he is successful with an offer.
